26th May Bank Holiday - Team Relay and/or BBQ!

For the Spring Bank Holiday on 26th May, the sailing and social committees are organising an endurance, team-relay regatta and a BBQ.

So come and join in the fun and festivities! You do not have to race to have a burger, nor do you have to have a burger to race. But you are of course more than welcome to do both if you wish! And if you wish to sail but not race, cruising is also an option. So there really is an option for everyone, and what nicer way could there be to spend the bank holiday than lakeside? Families and friends also welcome!

BBQ: £3 per head (payable on the day). From 12:00. To include a burger, a sausage and salad, as well as entertainment in the form of watching creative (and possibly eventful) crew swaps.

TEAM RELAY: No charge. Briefing 10:30, Race start 11:00. Register with a prebooked team, or turn up and form or be allocated to a team on the day. It's all in the name of fun, and there will be various prizes to include overall, 1st Oppie, 1st Topper, Youngest combined team and whatever else the PRO may dream up on the day! Must change helm (or helm and crew) at least 3 times during the race, so minimum team of 4 for a 2-handed boat or 2 for a single hander - but no maximum size.
