Social Events

The Papercourt Social Committee put on a variety of events throughout the year to suit members of all ages. The programme typically includes quiz nights, summer barbeques with games, bring and share suppers, end of season celebrations and talks given by guest speakers. Login to see the latest events.

We are always open to ideas for new events, and for volunteers either to join the Committee or to lend a hand on an ad hoc basis. Whether you enjoy cooking, food shopping, decorating tables, liaising with caterers, or even washing up, we will have something for you! No expertise is required, and we ensure the responsibilities are shared across a large group. We would love to hear from you so please do get in touch.

Papercourt Bar Committee

A focal point of Papercourt Sailing Club is the bar, which is available whenever we have a social event. We also open on Sunday lunchtimes when there is Club racing and Wednesday evenings during the summer.

Many Club members volunteer to run the bar. If you would like to join the bar team just contact Charlie.
